The National Ninja League is a non-profit dedicated to growing Ninja as a sport. We offer opportunities for all ages and skill levels to get involved in this rapidly growing sport! To decide what string of competitions is best for you follow the four steps below!
Step 1: Get Your Athlete ID
Each competitor who competes in the National Ninja League or the Rec Ninja League is assigned a unique NinjaWorks Athlete ID. This six-digit ID allows you to register for competitions, and allows all of your competition results to be tracked together. You'll also be asked for your Athlete ID when you sign our waiver.

Step 2: Fill out our Waiver & Join our Mailing List
Filling out our waiver will automatically place you on our mailing list. This will allow you to stay up to date with upcoming events and league news!

Step 3: Decide if NNL COMPS OR NNL REC EVENTS are better for you.
The National Ninja League (NNL) Comps are an elite series of competitions culminating in a World Championship event. Use the table below to decide if the NNL is perfect for you!

The NNL Rec events are designed to prepare the Beginner Ninjas for Advanced competition. Athletes will face beginner obstacles designed to build the strength and coordination needed for high level competitions. Use the table below to decide if the Rec Ninja League is good for you!

Scoring |
NNL comp winners are determined by the athletes that complete the most obstacles in a row without failing. If mutiple athletes complete the same number of obstacles the athletes with the fastest times will place higher. |
Rec winners are determined by the athletes that scored the most points in the least about of time. 1 point is awarded for completing each obstacle. |
Fails |
Athletes scoring will stop when they fail to complete an obstacle. |
Athletes will continue to gain points regardless of the number of obstacles they missed. |
Step 4: Locate NNL Competitions OR REC EVENTS in your region.
We divided the country into 8 regions to help you easily find competitions near you! Check the regional maps to find your schedule.

Step 5: Register for a compeition through the hosting facilities website.
All competitions will have links to register for the event on our site. If a link is not posted yet, the competition is too far away or the gym will need to be contacted directly. Provide your NinjaWorks Athlete ID to the gym as part of your registration.
