The Champ goes for Back to Back wins at Pinnacle Parkour!
Since the league has started only one athlete has won two Ninja League qualifiers. Byrce LaRoche. The wins were a full month a part. This weekend at Pinnacle Geoff Britten, the first American Ninja Warrior, stepped up to attempt the first ever back to back wins in National Ninja history. The course was a challenging one set by Captain NBC a.k.a Jamie Rahn. The competition was also fierce. Top competitors like Mike Bernardo, Mike Meyers, Zach Day, and Dave Cavanah all were in attendance to contest. Despite great odds the first American Ninja Warrior succeeded. Geoff got the furthest on an impossible course by 1 obstacle. This victory made Geoff the first athlete to win back to back competitions. The next event Geoff will be competing at will be Alternate Routes in Whitemarsh, MD.
The champ competes at Ninjakour!
The first American Ninja Warrior to ever complete Mt. Midoriyama competed in his first National Ninja event in Lilburn,GA. Geoff Britten took to the stage in front of a packed house at NInjakour. The course was challenging and the competition was steep. However, Geoff took to the course with the poise of a champion. He completed the Ninjakour course set by Doc Pruni a full minute faster than the competition. Geoff has been a strong supporter of local events and will be competing at Pinnacle Parkour in Cherry Hill next weekend.
M Lab NJ was electrifying from the first kids division athlete to the final warped wall knock out in the skills challenge! The men's division was separated by an insane .05 seconds between the winner and the second place finisher. Rookie Anthony Defranco edged out Ninja veteran Jamie Rahn in the last seconds of the course! However, the real story was rookie Rachel Goldstein. She has never compete in Ninja Warrior prior to this NNL event yet she became the first female in history to clear a National Ninja League Course! No women has completed a National Ninja Course to date and Rachel became the first official clear. She completed all 12 obstacles including the infamous warped wall! Rachel will be competing again at her home gym Pinnacle Parkour next weekend, Dec 13th. We except her to do great things throughout this season!
Over 200 Plus in Attendance at Icore fitness
The growing popularity of the league was on full display in Hatboro, PA this weekend! Over 200 spectators and competitors packed the facility located just south of Philadelphia! This was huge considering this was gym owner Mark Falcone's first ever Ninja Warrior competition! The phenomenal turn out seems to be the growing norm with National Ninja events! Next weekend XT fitness is already sold out with over 80 plus competitors set to take to gym owner Jim Steffen's course. "Its unbelievable the growth of the league and the overwhelming support"-NNL president Chris Wilczewski. The league is only continuing to grow both in participants and in facilities. Two more top facilities have recently been added to the leagues expanding roster. It appears there is no end to the unbelievable growth of the league!

Double Header Action Across the Nation!
Action was heating up last weekend with our first double header competition! In Buffalo New York Hybrid fitness kicked things off with an amazing comp featuring many Vegas finalists from previous seasons! On the other side of the action we had more legendary competitors with David "the Godfather" and Jessie Graff. However, it wasn't the veterans who shined in these competitions (exception Jesse Graff who managed to take first for the women's division). In Buffalo Jamie Rahn flew threw the course a minute faster than any competitor but was too pumped to finish the last obstacle! The performance was good enough for 6th place but did not qualify him for the finals. On the West coast David Campbell was coasting as well before he hit Apex's 3rd from last obstacle, the dreaded spinning pvc of death, before he gassed out. The performance was good enough to land him 4th place and a qualifying spot for the finals at Movement Lab New Jersey! The real winners for the weekend were Guy Catz from Apex NorCal and Kevin "The roofer" O'Connor. Both athletes put on dominating performances and showed they are potential candidates for the National Championship in February! Next week we head to Gravity Forge for our 5th qualifying event of the season!
Youth Represents in Ohio!
This past weekend, Oct 3rd, M Lab Ohio represented an amazing second competition of the league! Over 60 competitors packed the newly equipped facility! There were even more fans in attendance! At the comp there was a wide range of competitors from Ninja Warrior finalist to Ninja obstacle course challenger newbies! Of the wide range of competitors the youngsters stepped it up! The female winner was 13 year old Rachel from Team Nash in Tennessee ! Also, placing in the female comp was 13 year old Jane from Movement Lab New Jersey! There was also a young male by the name of Colt Klein! Colt is only 22 and this was his first National qualifier!

This past Sunday ,September 27th, kicked off with the first ever National Competition at Apex Movement NorCal! The house was packed! Most notably was American Ninja Warrior show host Matt Iseman! Matt was in attendance and even called the first ten runners of the Night! Next week the National Ninja League heads to Movement Lab Ohio for the second competition of the season!
